Love The People Christian Counseling & Teaching Ministry is a safe place for Pastors, Physicians, their spouses and children to talk about

challenges they are facing.

The Bible is the Final Authority. With prayer, we will invite God, Jesus, Holy Spirit and Wisdom to lead and guide us through this process. We will utilize Biblical Principles and guidance to see relationships God's way as you learn about your God given temperament.

Relationship Marriage Counseling - when you are trying to save your marriage.

Divorce Recovery

Divorce involves stages of recovery. In Divorce Recovery, healing is possible with healthy coping skills and time.

All sessions are VIRTUAL unless prearranged with counselor.

Dr. Ellen

Dr. Ellen Cooper-Edwards is CEO/President/Counselor of Love The People Christian Counseling & Teaching Ministry in Houston, Texas. She earned her MBA from Dallas Baptist University and Doctoral Degree in Christian Counseling from Andersonville Theological Seminary. She has served as Christian Counselor, Biblical Encourager, Church Administrator, Christian Academy Administrator, Bible Teacher, Conference Speaker and Sunday School Teacher. She has also served as Adjunct College Professor for Dallas College and Substitute Teacher for the Dallas Independent School District. She is a Board Certified Christian Counselor, Ordained Minister of Pastoral Care, and a Licensed Minister. She specializes in Biblical Encouragement, Pastoral Counseling, Professional Christian Counseling, and Clinical Pastoral Counseling. She provides counseling for Individual/Couples, Family and Marriage Relationship Counseling. She is currently enrolled in courses to become a Mental Health Coach. She is also a published Author.

She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, National Association of Christian Counselors, Sarasota Academy of Christian Counselors - International Representative Certified Pastoral Member and Experience Ministries/Ordination.

Affectionately known as Dr. Ellen, she was married to a Physician for 34 years who was also a Pastor for 14 years. She has 2 adult children (a Licensed Physical Therapist and a Board Certified Physician), daughter-in-love, son-in-love, 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.
